Grand Valley St. blasts Findlay

FINDLAY, Ohio — Grand Valley State won all 13 events on the way to a dominating 167-25 victory against Findlay. The Lakers improved to 5-2 in dual meet action with the victory.

GVSU took the top three spots in the 400 medley relay along with the 100, 200 and 1,000 freestyle. Benjamin Scheurich (49.52) and Michael Griffith (49.68) dominated the 100 free with each going under 50 seconds.

Patrick VanDommelen added a pair of victories in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions. Samuel Soukup also sprinted away from the field as he finished the 200 IM in 2:05.15, more than three seconds ahead of teammate Dylan Hescott (2:08.35).
