NCAA Diving qualifiers announced

INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Committee announced the participants in the 2011 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Diving Championships on Monday.

The women’s championships will be held March 17-19 at the Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas. A total of 41 female student-athletes will compete in the diving championships, hosted by Texas.

The men’s championships will be held March 24-26 at the University Aquatics Center in Minneapolis, Minn. A total of 35 male student-athletes will compete in the championships, hosted by Minnesota.

Qualifying divers were determined by performances achieved at the Zone Diving meets March 10-13. 

ESPN3.com will stream final sessions on Friday and Saturday for both championships. Additionally, ESPN2 will air a 90-minute show at 1:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, April 5 for the women’s championships, and 1:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 6 for the men’s championships.
