Ashland beats Urbana in home opener

ASHLAND, Ohio — Ashland opened up at home this season with a 155-66 victory against Urbana.

Junior Tyler Remmel won two individual events and was on the 200 medley relay team that beat the Blue Knights. He was the winner in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:48.96 and won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 58.43 seconds.

Junior Mauricio Uranga was also on the 200 medley relay squad and won two individual events. He was first in the 200 individual medley, clocking in at 1:58.75. He finished the 100 backstroke in 52.24 seconds for a win in that event.

Sophomore Josiah Galat won both men’s diving events at the 1-meter and 3-meter heights.
