INDIANAPOLIS--The NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Committee announced the participants in the 2011 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships.
The championships will be held March 9-12, at the Palo Alto Natatorium in San Antonio. The University of the Incarnate Word and San Antonio Sports will serve as the co-hosts.
Student-athletes qualified for consideration for selection to the swimming portion of the championships by meeting the established minimum “A” and/or “B” cut times for the events in which they entered. Divers qualified for the prequalification meet, conducted at the championships site on Tuesday, March 8, by achieving the minimum point total and established minimum degrees of difficulty on the six optional and/or 11 dives in their respective discipline(s). The prequalification meet will determine which divers compete in the national championships.
