COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State began the regular season with a 176.5-83.5 victory against Division III power Kenyon College on Friday night at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
“We’re very pleased with tonight’s results,” Ohio State head coach Bill Dorenkott said. “It’s a good indicator of where we’re at by this point in the season with our training. Kelly Titus had a solid 100 breaststroke and 500 free. Overall, we’re just showing more consistency.”
Mutiple-event winners for the Buckeyes included Jackie Brousseau in the 50 freestyle, 200 breaststroke and on the 200 free relay; Phoebe Cater in the 200 freestyle and the 200 medley and 200 free relays; Megan Detro in the 500 free and the 200 free relay; and Shannon Draves in the 200 IM and 200 free relay.
