Milwaukee School of Engineering

WAUKESHA, Wis. -- Milwaukee School of Engineering received all 10 first-place votes in the Northern Athletics Conference preseason men's tennis coaches' poll and was the unanimous pick to win the 2011 title.

The Raiders are coming off their first NAC championship with a perfect 8-0 record in conference duals, and finished 10-6 overall. MSOE earned the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III championship and finished the season with a first-round loss to Carleton.

Concordia Wisconsin (11-12, 6-2 NAC) was picked second in the poll with 87 points. The Falcons won the three prior NAC championships before last year's runner-up finish.

Dominican (9-7, 6-2) was third with 73 points, while Concordia Chicago (8-6, 5-3) and Lakeland (8-9, 5-3) tied for the fourth spot with 64 points apiece.

Edgewood, competing in men's tennis for the first time in the NAC, was picked sixth (45 points), Marian (4-11, 3-5) seventh with 44 points and Aurora (1-9, 1-7) eighth with 33 points.

Rockford (2-11, 1-7) and Wisconsin Lutheran (1-7, 1-7) rounded out the bottom of the poll with 27 and 13 points.
