Williams 4, Bowdoin 1

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Williams College men's tennis team advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals with a 4-1 victory over Bowdoin in an NCAA Northeast Regional Final on Sunday. The Ephs (13-4) advance to be one of eight teams at the NCAA Championship in Santa Cruz, California. The Polar Bears end their season with a record of 11-5.

The Ephs captured the doubles point and swept the #2 through #4 spots in the singles ladder, clinching the victory. Mac Burke earned the lone point for Bowdoin, picking up a convincing victory at the number one position. Three matches did not finish. Williams has appeared in the NCAA title match of the last two Tournaments and will return to action on May 18 at the NCAA Quartefinals against a to-be-determined opponent.
