ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla.-The defending national champions, #1-ranked West Florida, survived a scare from the 10th-ranked Drury Panthers, winning 5-4 in the quarterfinals of the 2005 NCAA Division II National Tennis Tournament.

The Argonauts won two of the three doubles points. Drury's 15th-ranked doubles team of Matias Oddone and Igor Fejzula pulled a stunning upset of the third-ranked pair, Paulius Jurkenas and Mario Vergara, of West Florida 8-2.
