FORT MYERS, Fla. - No. 25 Illinois continued its dominance Sunday in day two of the Florida Gulf Coast Hilton Garden Inn Invitational. The Orange and Blue claimed all four doubles matches to reach the championship round in each respective flight, while eight Illini will play in the championship match in singles action as well.

The tournament is comprised of players from No. 28 South Florida, No. 50 Purdue, No. 66 North Texas, No. 70 North Florida, Akron, Stetson, Northwestern State, Louisville, Wichita State and Florida Gulf Coast. It features five doubles flights and 10 singles flights.

In flight one doubles, No. 15 sophomore Rachael White and freshman Allison Falkin defeated Carolina de los Santos and Unnati Purushotham (Stetson) 8-4, while in flight two, junior Chelcie Abajian and sophomore Breanne Smutko downed Shannon Gunning and Sierra Sullivan (Stetson) 8-0. In flight three, senior Marisa Lambropoulos and freshman Misia Kedzierski topped Amy Joubert and Paula Dinuta (North Texas) 8-3, and in flight four, senior Leigh Finnegan and junior Amy Allin cruised past Kathrin Lange and Adna Curukovic (Northwestern State) 8-0.
