Pittsburgh, PA...The College of New Jersey women's tennis team opened the 2009 NCAA Division III Tournament with a win as the Lions beat Lebanon Valley College on Friday, 5-0.

The win puts TCNJ (16-3) into the second round where they will face Johns Hopkins University (13-3) at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 9. Carnegie Mellon University is hosting the event.

The Lions started strong, sweeping all three doubles matches and then picked up two more wins in the single events to secure the win.

The loss ended Lebanon Valley's season at 18-4.
