Greencastle, Ind. —  In a match which lasted over four hours and came down to number six singles, 12th-ranked DePauw defeated 14th-ranked Washington University, 5-4.

Washington held a 2-1 lead after doubles before DePauw rallied to tie the match at 4-4. Kristine Lewry then topped Allison Dender 6-1, 3-6, 6-0 for the win.

DePauw improved to 17-8 and advanced to the third-round on Sunday where it will face the winner of the Chicago-Grinnell match. The Bears conclude their season at 15-7.
