MADISON, Wis. -- No. 6 Chicago went 3-0 in two days to win its fifth consecutive Midwest Invitational on Saturday. The Maroons (13-3) have now won 10 consecutive matches and 12 of their last 13.

Chicago started the invite on Friday with a pair of wins against Gustavus Adolphus 9-0 and Case Western Reserve 8-1. The Maroons then captured the team title on Saturday with a 6-3 win against No. 13 Washington (Mo.).

Megan Tang, Linden Li and Kelsey McGillis all went 3-0 in singles play on the weekend. Tang is on a 12-match win streak in singles and Li has won five in a row. In doubles play, the tandems of Tang and Helen Sdvizkhov were 3-0 at the No. 1 position while Li and McGillis were also 3-0 at the No. 2 position. Li and McGillis have won eight consecutive while Tang and Sdvizkhov have won seven in a row.
