Shaniqua Ferguson, Auburn, women's 200 meters - 23.20
"I ran the 60 earlier, and did well, so I really took that momentum into the 200. I wanted to execute as well as I know I can. In the heats I didn't get out as well as I should have so I had to make up for it at the end. In the final I made an adjustment and was able to win it."

Lisa Koll, Iowa State, women's 5,000 meters - 15:39.65
"Training has been going really great. I've kind of been hurt recently, but Coach just decided to change the workouts and it's worked really well. I've been able to build my strength from the ground up this season."

Elizabeth Patterson, Arizona, women's high jump, 1.93m (6-4)
"It was a tough competition. I wasn't really in a position to win until the very end, but I guess that's when it matters. It was such a close competition there at the end. I knew I had to step up at that point, and I was able to."

D'Ana McCarty, Louisville, women's weight throw - 22.76m (74-8 ΒΌ)
"I was hoping to come in an throw 23 meters, but I tried to start out further back in the ring and it didn't really workout, but it was a PR so I'm happy with it. It's exciting to repeat. I've been hoping for this since I won it last year."
