W. Texas A&M wins LSC Invite
Lady Buffs’ distance medley relay wins in 12:35.89
LUBBOCK, Texas -- West Texas A&M competed at the Lone Star Conference Invite against four other LSC teams. The Lady Buffs took first at the meet while the Buffs took fourth.

On the women’s side, there were four provisional marks set during the meet. In the 55-meter hurdles Rachel King placed second overall and ran a time of 8.18 in the prelims. Kirsten McCowan also competed in the hurdles running a time of 8.15 in the prelims.
Both marks were provisional marks. Jessie Thomas placed 3rd in the 400 meters running a time of 57.03 which was a provisional mark.
Morgan Shelton placed second in the pentathlon scoring a total of 3447 points and also hit a provisional mark. Aries Bazaldua placed first in the 3000 meters with a time of 10:40.84. Sarah Snider placed second in the 200 meters with a time of 25.15.
The distance medley relay, which consisted of Bazaldua, Taylor Johnson, Allie Reyna, and Amber Moore, placed first overall with a time of 12:35.89.
