-Senior Terry Masava (Nairobi, Kenya) notched a match-high 26 kills, hit .426 for the match and added a team-leading 16 digs to help push the University of Bridgeport Purple Knights to a straight set, 25-21, 27-25, 26-24, win over the University of New Haven Chargers and a berth inthe NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball East Regional Final which will be
played at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday evening. UB will face the winner of tonight's second regional semifinal between Adelphi and the host DowlingCollege Golden Lions.

With the win, Bridgeport is now 25-4 overall. New Haven ends its season at 27-3 with two of its losses coming against Bridgeport.

Masava was joined in double figure kills by graduate student Agatha Baliddawa-Mukisa (Jinja, Uganda) with 11 kills.

Junior setter Tamara Leite (Natal, Brazil) directed the Bridgeport offense with 41 assists.
