CALIFORNIA, Pa. - The Lock Haven University volleyball team (34-5) cruised past Edinboro University (23-13) 3-0 (25-23, 25-11 & 25-20) tonight in semifinal action at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Championships, hosted by California (Pa.).

With the win, the Lady Eagles, the regions No. 2 seed advance to tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 21) night's region championship match.

Christie Naumann (Charters Towers, Australia/Gladstone) led the way tonight for The Haven as the senior turned in a 10-kill effort. She added eight digs.

Xuan Gao (Dong Ying, China/Zibo No. 10. Middle School) added eight kills and six digs for LHU. She also had a solid night blocking for Lock Haven and finished with five block assists and one solo block.

Kim Windstein (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) led LHU with a .364 hitting percentage. She had four kills and zero errors. She also added five block assists.

Fabiana Gomez (Montevideo, Uruguay/Consejo de E.S.) led the Lady Eagles with 23 assists. She also added eight digs.

Christina Laury (Horsham, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) led LHU with a 10-dig effort.

Haley Gribler (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy-Liberty) added seven kills for Lock Haven.

The Atlantic Region Championship match is set for 7:30 tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 21) night. Lock Haven will take on rival and host Cal, who downed Wheeling Jesuit 3-0 in the night's other semifinal.
