15th-seeded LSU Sweeps Tulane

BATON ROUGE -- Hosting an NCAA Tournament game for the first time in 18 years, the 15th-seeded LSU volleyball team hit .351 in a 3-0 sweep of Tulane in the first round of the 64-team tournament on Friday night at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
LSU (25-6) advanced to face Texas A&M (19-10) at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday at the PMAC.
Earlier, Texas A&M's Jennifer Banse had a match-high 23 kills and hit .340 with 20 digs, as the Aggies advanced past No. 19 Arizona, 3-1 (18-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-23). Arizona's season ended with a 19-11 record.
