AUSTIN, Texas -
After knocking off then-No. 2 Nebraska and Colorado last week, the Texas Volleyball team has moved up two spots to No. 8 in the AVCA Division I Coaches Top 25 Poll released Monday.

Texas moved up in the poll after holding the No. 10 spot in the last two polls. Florida continues to hold the top spot, California ranks second, Stanford ranks third, Hawaii ranks fourth and Nebraska weighs in at No. 5.

The Longhorns have now been ranked in the AVCA Poll for 105-straight weeks, dating back to the 2004 season.

Texas returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 6 when it plays host to Oklahoma at Gregory Gymnasium. First serve is set for 4 p.m. Central on KBVO in the Austin area.
