• No. 4 Texas faces No. 11 Minnesota on both Friday and Saturday night in Minnesota. The Longhorns are coming off a three-set victory against the Israel national team on Monday. After dropping a five-set match to No. 2 Southern California Friday night, the Gophers rebounded to beat Oregon on Saturday, a day after the Ducks toppled the No. 1 team in the nation for the first time in program history. • New No. 1 Cal will spend its first weekend as the nation’s top team at the Cavalier Classic in Virginia. The Golden Bears will face Long Island and host Virginia on Friday, then take on East Carolina on Saturday afternoon. • Former No. 1 Penn State will try to get its mojo back this weekend at the Pittsburgh Invitational. The No. 2 Nittany Lions will face Miami (Ohio) and host Pittsburgh on Friday and New Hampshire on Saturday. |
