Key Notes: Bartsch was named the Big Ten co-Player of the Week along with Nebraska's Gina Mancuso. Bartsch was had a pair of double-doubles with 23 kills and 10 digs in a five-set victory at No. 9 Minnesota and 10 kills and 10 digs in a three-set triumph at Wisconsin. She ranks sixth in the Big Ten in kills at 4.06 per set and 10th in the league in digs at 3.41 per set.

• The weekend's featured matchup is a battle of unbeatens in the Big Ten, as top-ranked Illinois, enjoying its first No. 1 ranking, takes on unbeaten Purdue, off to its best start since 1985.

• USC jumped seven spots to No. 5 in the latest AVCA Coaches' Poll on Monday. The Trojans swept then-No. 2 Stanford thanks in large part to the play of senior All-America outside hitter Alex Jupiter, who contributed 15 kills and 11 digs. Up next for the Women of Troy is Colorado on Friday and Utah on Sunday.

• After winning a five-set thriller against then-No. 6 Florida on Sunday, Tennessee returned tothe AVCA Coaches' Poll at No. 23 on Monday after a four-week absence. Sophomore Carly Sahagian was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, while junior DeeDee Harrison was selected as the conference's Defensive Player of the Week.
