DIVISION I

• Top-ranked Illinois has six wins against top-10 teams in the last three years -- No. 6 Michigan and No. 6 Minnesota in 2009, No. 2 Texas and No. 2 Penn State in 2010 and No. 9 Minnesota and No. 8 Penn State this year. That equals the combined total of top-10 wins from the previous 16 seasons, as Illinois had six top-10 wins from 1993 to 2008.

• No. 16 Oregon faces a very tough weekend. They'll face No. 3 USC on Friday night and No. 6 UCLA on Saturday night.

• Illinois is 17-0 on the season, its second-best start in school history behind only the 30-0 beginning to the 1985 season.

• Penn State's five-set loss to the Illini on Saturday ended the Nittany Lions' 68-match Big Ten Conference home winning streak.

• Second-ranked Washington has a brutal weekend on tap. It will travel to No. 4 Cal on Friday night and then make the jaunt over to Stanford to square off with the No. 7 Cardinal on Saturday night.
