• Oddly, third-ranked Washington-St. Louis has the weekend off. It could probably use the time off after having its DIII record 63-set winning streak stopped last Saturday by No. 16 Chicago. The Bears also suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday to No. 2 Emory. • Top-ranked Calvin is now the only unbeaten team in DIII, sitting a 23-0 after sweeping the Midwest Invitational last weekend. The Knights face Olivet on Friday and Alma on Saturday. |
