Minn.-Duluth wins top-four battle
Roundup: No. 2 Tampa defeats Lynn in four sets
SAINT PAUL, Minn -- No. 4 Minnesota Duluth senior setter Eleena Iisakka sent down the second touch to a wide-open floor, giving the Bulldogs a five-set road win and the traveling UMD fans into a mini frenzy on No. 1 Concordia-St. Paul’s home floor.
UMD (23-0 overall, 14-0 NSIC) won the final two sets of the match against the Golden Bears (22-1, 13-1) Saturday afternoon, winning 20-25, 30-28, 15-25, 25-20, 17-15 to remain the only unbeaten team in the conference.
The Bulldogs hit .365 in the final two sets. Sophomore outside hitter Kate Lange contributed nine of her match-high 24 kills in the final two sets, and senior outside hitter Hannah Johnson poured on eight of her 14 kills in the effort as well. Middle blockers Stephanie Brown and Kalli Lochner each reached double digits in kills, earning 11 and 10, respectively.

TAMPA, Fla. -- No. 2 Tampa defeated Lynn in a four-set victory Saturday afternoon. The now 23-0 Spartans added a win to their perfect record with a 10-0 mark in Sunshine State Conference play. The Fighting Knights Drop to 11-12 with a 4-6 SSC tally.
Reigning SSC Players of the Week Eva Dupay and Danielle Selkridge amassed 11 kills each with freshman Meagan Burke swatting eight. Burke and Selkridge each totaled six blocks on the contest while Dupay walled four. Junior Jessica Yingling grounded seven attacks and posted three block solos at the net.
Libero Julie Howlett notched 19 digs and Holly Reschke had 10. Tampa limited the Fighting Knights to a .007 attack percentage as the Spartans blocked a staggering 18 Lynn attacks.
