WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- Nebraska-Kearney, Concordia-St. Paul, Minnesota Duluth, Southwest Minnesota State and Washburn held onto their top-five status in the latest AVCA coaches' poll. Sonoma State and Chico State made the top 25 after being unranked last week.

Sonoma State dropped off last week's poll after falling to  No. 13 Western Washington, but bounced right back up to No. 20 after taking three-set wins from Cal State East Bay and Cal State Monterey Bay during last weekend's conference play.

Chico State debuted at No. 25 on this week's coaches' poll, sharing the spot with Adams State. 

The Wildcats are also coming off of a 2-0 weekend after stealing a five-set win against Cal Poly Pomona and defeating Humboldt State 3-1. 

The Wildcats lead the CCAA with an overall record of 8-1 the Seawolves are right on their tail with a record of 8-2.
