No. 1 Calvin

Calvin will now turn its attention to the rugged Wittenberg Fall Invitational. On Friday, Calvin will face sixth-ranked Washington (Mo.) and will then meet Heidelberg.

Top-ranked Calvin improved to 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the MIAA with a 25-18, 25-11, 25-18 conference victory at Trine on Wednesday. Calvin has now won 42 consecutive MIAA regular-season matches and is now 51-1 in its last 52 matches in conference play.

No. 2 Emory

Emory hopes to continue its winning ways Friday and Saturday when it makes its 2013 home debut by hosting the Emory Classic. The Eagles will take on Millsaps and Christopher Newport on Friday before facing Southwestern and Cal Lutheran on Saturday.

No. 3 St. Thomas (Minn.)

St. Thomas travels to the Carthage tournament this weekend. The Tommies will begin tournament play on Friday against Wisconsin-Plattville and Carthage.

On Saturday, St. Thomas will take on Chicago and Illinois Wesleyan.

No. 4 Elmhurst

Elmhurst travels to the University of La Verne tournament on Friday and Saturday. Elmhurst will face WHitman and California-Santa Cruz on Friday. Saturday, No. 3 Elmhurst will play Clarkson and host La Verne.

No. 5 Hope

No. 5 Hope travels to the Wittenberg Fall Classic this weekend. On Friday, the Flying Dutchmen will take on Washington (Mo.) and Otterbein before facing Heidelberg and Ohio Northern on Saturday.

No. 6 Washington-St. Louis

No. 6 Washington-St. Louis will try to remain unbeaten when they travel to Springfield, Ohio, for four matches at the Wittenberg Fall Classic Friday and Saturday.

Three of the four teams the Bears will play are ranked in the top-20 of this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) coaches' poll. Washington-St. Louis takes on No. 5 Hope and No. 1 Calvin on Friday, before facing No. 16 Juniata and Heidelberg on Saturday.

No. 7 Cal Lutheran

Cal Lutheran (6-1) will take part in one of the top Division III regular season tournaments when it travels to Atlanta for the Emory Invitational.

On Friday, the Regals play Southwestern (Texas) and No. 12 Christopher-Newport (Va.). The following day, Cal Lutheran will play against Millsaps and Emory.

No. 8 Otterbein

Otterbein returns to action this weekend, traveling to the prestigous Wittenberg Fall Classic on Friday and Saturday. The Cardinals will face off against three top-10 teams at the event in Hope, Calvin, and the host Tigers.

No. 9 Mount Union

Mount Union, ranked No. 9 in the nation, hosts the Purple Raider Classic this Friday and Saturday. 

Mount Union takes on Transylvania Friday to start the tournament before taking on Alma. The Purple Raiders take to the court Saturday for their final two matches. Then they will face Hanover and Bethany.

No. 10 Wittenberg

Ranked No. 10 in the nation despite 2-4 start to the 2013 season, Wittenberg continues its challenging non-conference schedule with the Wittenberg Fall Classic.

Two weeks after playing host to a four-team field that included three nationally ranked teams in the Wittenberg Courtyard Marriott National Invitational, the Tigers will welcome a field of nine teams that includes six teams currently in the national top 25.
