Cortland State Takes Top Billing At Empire Wrestling Championships

ROCHESTER, NY – SUNY Cortland was the top scoring team at the 2010 Empire Wrestling Championships at RIT’s Clark Gymnasium on Saturday. The Red Dragons, ranked 16th in Division III, defeated SUNY Brockport by 15.5 points. No. 4 Ithaca was third with 124.5 points, and Lycoming was fourth with 117 points. The winners of the 10 weight classes, plus five wild-card selections advanced to the 36th Division III NCAA Wrestling Championships on March 5-6.
