WILKES BARRE, Pa. -- The College of New Jersey tacked on another victory to its winning streak as the Lions muscled their way to a 24-18 win at No. 15 Wilkes on Friday. The win extend the 14th-ranked TCNJ’s winning streak to 14 consecutive matches.

Each team picked up five wins in the match, but TCNJ’s two wins by fall proved the difference.

The Lions (18-1) won the opening two bouts as freshman Steve Godine won by injury default at 125 and sophomore Dan Herr recorded a pin at 133.

TCNJ added win another at 157 as freshman Zach Zotollo won by decision and two weight classes later, sophomore Brian Broderick also picked up a victory by decision at 174.

The final win of the dual meet for the Lions came at 184 pounds as junior Mike Denver recorded a pin in 1:08.
