GRANTHAM, PA -- The Falcons concluded the Petrofes Invitational in Hitchcock Arena with a pair of individual championships and a second-place finish in the tournament, all from underclassmen.

Kaleb Loht continued his dominant sophomore campaign with another win in the 141 lb. weight class, defeating Brian Bistis of Cortland. Loht was also named by the coaches from each of the schools as the Petrofes Tournament's Most Outstanding Wrestler.

Two freshmen, Jason Wright and Josh Thomson, also had strong finishes. Wright defeated Nick Rajcsak of Mt. Union 3-1 in a tilt that went to overtime in the 197 lb. weight class. Thomson, who also advanced to the finals round, fell to his counterpart Will Parks of Cortland 3-2 in his finals matchup.

After leading by 19 points after the first day, sixth-ranked SUNY Cortland took home first with a team total of 204.5. Messiah, ranked 22nd, finished third with a team score of 138. Mount Union took second place.
