St. Thomas (Minn.) sent 13 men to the plate in the third, scoring nine runs and held on to beat Christopher Newport 12-7. The Tommies' nine hits in the third was one short of a championship record.

Wheaton (Mass.) won its first game at the Division III Championship since 2006 with a 3-2 victory against Webster on Friday. Alec Palioca went 7.1 innings to improve to 9-0 on the season.
