Championship

Ohio State dominated the action at the 2012 Men's and Women's NC Fencing Championship, earning the Buckeyes their fourth national championship.

Ohio State won its fourth fencing title behind the performance of Max Stearns. The win is the third combined title, with all three coming under the direction of head coach Vladimir Nazlymov.

The men's competition got underway Saturday at the NCAA Championships. Ohio State entered the day tied with Princeton for first, but the Buckeyes grabbed the lead heading into the final day of action.

The women's competition wrapped up on Friday with Princeton and host Ohio State leading at the NCAA Championships. Notre Dame, Penn State and St. John's remain in position to make a run.
