TCNJ earned the program's 11th national title on Sunday in the 2011 NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship. The Lions defeated Middlebury 3-1 to capture the crown.

TCNJ scored twice off penalty corners including Erin Waller's game-winner as the Lions won its 11th national title and first since 1999, defeating Middlebury 3-1.

 

Middlebury jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as they defeated Bowdoin 3-0. The Panthers snap Bowdoin’s 26 game winning streak that dated back to Oct. 2010.

TCNJ Athletics

Senior goalkeeper Shannon Syciarz recorded a season-high 16 saves as TCNJ advanced to the final of the NCAA tourament with a 2-0 win against Ursinus on Saturday.
