After finishing four strokes ahead of Nova Southeastern on the final day of the Division II national championships, Lynn was able to end the Sharks' reign and take the NCAA title.

Behind a final score of 1,187, Lynn defeated four-time national champion Nova Southeastern at the 2013 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championships to earn its first national title since 1997.

In just her first national championship appearance, Barry's Nancy Vergara won the individual NCAA title by one stroke. Vergara entered the final round trailing by one stroke.
