Co-Chairs Announced for 2010 NCAA Men's Final Four
INDIANAPOLIS, October 29, 2008 - Tom King, George McGinnis and Jim Snyder have been named co-chairmen of the Indianapolis Local Organizing Committee (ILOC) for the 2010 NCAA Men's Final Four. The announcement was made Wednesday at Lucas Oil Stadium during the unveiling of the official logo for the 2010 NCAA Men's Final Four. King, the president of Thomas A. King Consulting, also serves as the chairman of the board at Indiana Sports Corporation. McGinnis, a former basketball standout for Washington High School (Indianapolis), Indiana University and the Indiana Pacers, has served on seven previous ILOCs, including the 2006 NCAA Men's Final Four ILOC. Snyder, a partner at Hammond Kennedy Whitney, previously worked on the staff of former Indianapolis Mayor Stephen Goldsmith. King, McGinnis and Snyder will begin their ILOC duties by overseeing the 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship - Midwest Regional. Butler University and the Horizon League are the host institutions for the 2009 NCAA Men's Midwest Regional and 2010 NCAA Men's Final Four, while Indiana Sports Corporation will manage the ILOC.
