Finley Stadium Information


Finley Stadium Davenport Field is the home stadium for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team, the NCAA Division I Football Championship since 1997, and various high school sports, concerts, and competitions. The stadium contains 32 luxury sky boxes as well as 3,465 preferred seats with chairbacks. The $350,000 scoreboard includes a giant matrix screen, and the Stadium Club can hold 250 for pregame or postgame functions. The press box can hold 80+ media representatives, has three radio booths and a television broadcast booth. Identical home and visitors locker rooms contain a separate training area and coaches locker rooms, as well as an extensive player locker area.

The stadium contains 32 luxury sky boxes as well as 3,465 preferred seats with chairbacks. The $350,000 scoreboard includes a giant matrix screen, and the Stadium Club can hold 250 for pregame or postgame functions. The press box can hold 80+ media representatives, has three radio booths and a television broadcast booth. There are no in-and-out privileges at 2009 NCAA Division I Football Championship game. Once you have left the stadium, you may not re-enter. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the stadium gates.

The safety and comfort of fans, coaches and players is priority. The following items are not permitted into Finley Stadium:
--Backpacks (with exception to the NCAA sanctioned AT&T sling bag)
--Banners, flags or signs larger than 3 feet by 5 feet
--Beach balls
--Blow horns and other distracting noise makers
--Briefcases, attache cases or any type of bags and/or large purses
--Firearms and/or knives
--Outside food or beverages
--Glass, cans, coolers and/or containers.
--Illegal drugs or controlled substances.
--Laptops (does not apply to Media)
--Laser pens/pointers or strobe lights
--Umbrellas
--Videotape cameras

When entering Finley Stadium, you may be subject to inspection of such things like purses, fanny packs, medical kits and other personal items brought into the stadium. The stadium has the authority to prohibit any items deemed to be a security risk. You will not be able to leave items at the gate. Please do not bring them with you or stadium security will dispose of them.

Fan Behavior

The NCAA and Finley Stadium are committed to serving our fans by providing a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all fans in and around the stadium on game day. These Fan Behavior policies have been established to ensure that your experience is consistent with our commitment. We ask that you, as a supporter of the game, join us in creating a positive game day experience for all fans by adhering to the following:
--Fans may enjoy the game day experience free from obscene or abusive language, gestures or behavior.
--Fans ensure that the progress of the event is not disrupted by fans' actions or by unauthorized persons entering the playing field or restricted areas of the stadium.
--Fans respect others by sitting in the seat location as indicated on their ticket.
--Fans will be treated in a consistent, professional and courteous manner by all stadium staff and team personnel.

Fans not adhering to these provisions may be subject to ejection without refund, revocation of ticket and, if in violation of city ordinances or other laws, may also be subject to arrest and prosecution. The following activities do not comply with the established policies:
--Verbal or physical confrontation, including dangerous, abusive or profane behavior.
--Attempting to enter the field area or other restricted areas of the stadium.
--Smoking.
--Interfering with or failure to comply with security procedures, emergency procedures or requests from staff regarding stadium operations. Fans must present their tickets to stadium personnel when requested.

Intoxicated fans in and around Finley Stadium may be denied entry or may be subject to arrest or ejection from the stadium.

If someone is interfering with your enjoyment of the game, please notify stadium ushers or security personnel of the exact location (section, row and seat) of the problem immediately.
