Bulls Back Home To Face Florida Atlantic

TAMPA – The No. 12/12 University of South Florida men’s soccer team will look to rebound against Florida Atlantic in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 7:30 p.m at the USF Soccer Stadium. “It is always a tough game when we play an in-state team," said USF head coach George Kiefer. "Last year we had a hard fought match and I am sure this year will be no different.” This is the 14th meeting all-time between the teams. The Bulls lead the all-time series 9-3-1. The last meeting took place Oct. 10, 2007 where the Bulls tied the Owls 1-1 in 2OT in Boca Raton. USF is led by Jordan Seabrook who has nine points on the year with two goals and five assists. Zak Boggs leads the team with three goals. Kevon Neaves has recorded three assists and two goals on the year. Sophomore Jeff Attinella currently has a 0.39 GAA on the year, which ranks in the top ten nationally. The Owls defeated Bowling Green, 2-1 in OT on Sunday. They are currently 3-9-1 overall and 0-4-1 in the Mid-American Conference. They are led by senior forward Shire Standnes who has scored five goals.
