INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Committee has selected Minneapolis, Minn., as the host site for the 2010 NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships. Hosted by Beloit College and The College of Wooster, the 2010 championship will be conducted March 17-20 at the University Aquatic Center.

The 2010 championship will mark the third time Minneapolis has hosted the NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships as the city previously welcomed the event in 2006 and 2009, which was the first men and women joint championship.

“The University Aquatic Center is a first-class facility with an outstanding staff,” said Tom Till, chair of the Division III Swimming and Diving Committee and aquatics director and head swim coach at Goucher College. “The student-athletes have had great championship experiences here in the past, and we expect another outstanding event in 2010.”
