Louisiana-Lafayette dumped defending champion Arizona State and Alabama raced by Michigan on Thursday. Check back Friday afternoon as more super regionals heat up on the way to the WCWS.

Jackie Traina was masterful in the circle, picking up her 36th win of the year by allowing just two hits in Alabama's 4-1 win against Michigan Thursday to open super regional play.

When the Pride started the season 0-9, they were just trying to squeak out a win. Since then, Hofstra has gone 41-4, undefeated in conference play and is headed to the program's first Super Regional.

Softball is a marathon; it's not a sprint, as Alabama head coach Patrick Murphy says. Take a look as the Roll Tide talk about what it takes to make it to the next level in the postseason.
