Kansas had a solid lead heading into the final day of the 2013 Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships and cruised to secure the Jayhawks' first national title.

Kansas thwarted Oregon's attempt to sweep team titles this year by racing out to a solid lead at the 2013 outdoor championships and holding it to take home the program's first national title.

Colorado's Emma Coburn won the steeplechase with a 9:35.38 at the NCAA championships. She has also made a name for herself with the U.S. team, which was surprising after her start with the Buffs.
Jayhawks' first
