Springfield successfully defended its title, sweeping Nazareth in the national championship match. The Pride remain the only team to win the NCAA championship since its inaugural year in 2012.

Springfield cruised to a three-set victory against Nazareth to win the 2013 national championship. The Pride finished the match with a .382 hitting percentage, combining for 41 kills.

Freshmen Tim Zyburt and Grant Levermore combined for 23 kills to help Nazareth defeat Rivier in three sets and advance to the national championship match against Springfield.

Springfield is headed to its fourth consecutive national title match after defeating Baruch in five sets in the national semifinals. Freshman Luis Vega got 14 kills in the winning effort.
