Senior collegiate student-athletes will be playing in an exhibition all-star game at the MHC Turf and Track Complex. Admission is free.
Parade Of Champions Registration Information
There is an opportunity for high school, club, and community recreation field hockey teams to play an important role in the 2009 NCAA Division III national field hockey championship. The plan is to line the walkway from the indoor warm-up space to the turf field with young players-all with their field hockey sticks and some distinguishing team apparel. The energy of these young players will be an inspiring send-off for each of the semi-final matches and championship game.
Teams can sign-up to participate in any or all of the two semi-final matches and championship game.
Participation will be on a first-come, first served basis based upon submission of this registration form and team roster.
Interested teams will need to complete this interest form naming the coach or adult chaperone for the team.
Teams will need to submit a roster of participants no later than Saturday, November 14 as the walkway will be accessible only with special credentials.
Teams will need to line the walkway approximately 1.5 hours prior to the start of the game.
Teams are asked to wear distinguishing gear or uniforms, and players should bring their field hockey sticks for the parade. Field hockey sticks will not be allowed in the spectator area, so teams should plan to return their equipment to their vehicles.
Each participant will need to purchase a ticket of admission for the event.
