Welcome to Kansas City

With eclectic cuisine, swinging jazz, beautiful fountains, one-of-a-kind museums and a revitalized downtown, we hope you'll take time to discover the new experiences and traditional favorites that make a trip to Kansas City special.

Sprint Center. This $276 million all-glass arena never turns its back on the city, designed by the world's leading sports architecture firms. The College Basketball Experience shares a lobby with Sprint Center. The 41,500-square-foot facility contains hands-on basketball exhibits and houses the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame.

Across the street is the Kansas City Power & Light District. That's more than 40 restaurants and entertainment venues, offering everything from fine dining to line dancing. One block features a ring of restaurants and nightlife surrounding a covered outdoor courtyard which includes the KC Live! stage that offers live entertainment.

You won't want to miss our world-class museums. A true American treasure, the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial is the only museum in the country dedicated to the Great War. Also noteworthy are Kansas City's three art museums (all free). Known as one of America's most comprehensive general art museums, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, which features 34,500 items spanning more than 5,000 years.
