We would like to officially welcome you to the 29th annual 2009 NCAA® Division I Women's Volleyball Championship.


The NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship offers a level of play that is fast-paced and competitive, representing the highest level of amateur athletics in the nation. The hosts of this event, The University of South Florida and the Tampa Bay Sports Commission, are honored to welcome these high-caliber student-athletes from the across the nation to Tampa Bay's West Coast community. The four advancing teams will have earned the right to play for the NCAA national title by virtue of advancing through the 64-team bracket.


The Division I women's volleyball championship continues to evolve, displaying the athleticism, intelligence and finesse of the student-athletes. We are proud to showcase this prestigious collegiate championship right here in Tampa Bay at the St. Pete Times Forum, the home of more than 150 events each year, including several past NCAA championship events. For those visiting the area, we encourage you to the experience all that Tampa Bay has to offer, from its aquatic and animal adventures to its great cultural endeavors.
