Blog: Top Teams Fall Over The Weekend
Eight ranked teams, including three inside the top 10, suffered a defeat for the first time this season during the outstanding tournament action around the country on Labor Day weekend. Jerry Trickie reviews all the weekend action.

Top-Ranked Concordia Takes Care of No. 3 Tampa
Concordia's streak of 75 straight wins may have came to a close Friday afternoon but they have extended their streak to 36 straight against ranked opponents. The Golden Bears (3-1) beat the #3 Tampa University Spartans 3-1 (13-25, 27-25, 25-23, 25-21). The Golden Bears were led offensively by Emily Palkert and Cassie Haag.
