    Bowie State darted out to a 28-0 lead in Thursday's DII Game of the Week and cruised to a 28-14 victory against Benedict. Redshirt sophomore Keith Brown rushed for a career-high 130 yards for the Bulldogs.

    Zac Dickey passed for 190 yards to lead Pittsburg State to a 35-21 victory against Wayne State (Mich.) for the crown. The Gorillas turned two blocked kicks into touchdowns to claim their second title.

    CSU-Pueblo controlled the ground game and used a tenacious defense to roll in-state rival Colorado School of Mines 23-6 in the DII Game of the Week. The ThunderWolves improved their record to 6-0.
