3 American Athletic Conference games postponed
The American Athletic Conference announced Monday evening the postponement of Thursday's (Feb. 25) and Sunday's (Feb. 28) Wichita vs. SMU games "due to a continuation of a suspension of activities at SMU."
The AAC also postponed Saturday's East Carolina-Tulsa contest "due to a continuation of a suspension of activities at East Carolina," per the release.
Iona men's basketball will not be able to finish its regular season
On Monday, Iona announced that it will not be able to finish its regular season because of a positive COVID-19 test within the program's Tier 1 personnel.
The Gaels plan on competing in the 2021 MAAC tournament that begins on March 8.
UNC men's basketball to play Marquette on Wednesday, Feb. 24
Bellarmine pauses activity
Fordham athletics pauses all competitions, practices
Fordham athletics has paused all competitions and practices after a spike in COVID-19 cases on campus. "The pause is necessary to reduce the infection rate, as required by New York state," according to the release.
Fordham women's basketball holds a 11-3 record, while the men are 2-11. The women had to postpone the La Salle (2/14), George Mason (2/18) and George Washington (2/20) games. The men had to cancel its contest against St. Bonaventure on Wednesday.
3 ACC men's basketball games postponed, another rescheduled
The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Tuesday the postponement of three men's basketball games taking place between Saturday, Feb. 20 and Tuesday, Feb. 23 due to COVID-19. Here are the postponed matchups:
- Virginia Tech at Florida State. Was scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 20.
- Clemson at Pittsburgh. Was scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 21.
- North Carolina at Boston College. Was scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 23.
In response to these postponements, Florida State will now play Pittsburgh on February 20, which make up for their original game scheduled on January 9.
Texas-Oklahoma, Texas Tech-TCU men's basketball games postponed
West Virginia-Baylor men's basketball game scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 25
Baylor announced that its previously-postponed home game against West Virginia has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 25. It was originally scheduled for Jan. 12, but was postponed to Feb. 18. The contest was then postponed once more.
Tipoff and television info have not yet been determined.
Maine men's basketball is opting out of the remainder of its season
Two ACC women's basketball games postponed
On Friday, the ACC announced that two women's basketball games have been postponed.
The Louisville-Syracuse game scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 14, was postponed because of "a positive test, subsequent quarantining and contact tracing within the Louisville women’s basketball program."
The Notre Dame-NC State game scheduled for Monday, Feb. 15, was postponed due to "positive tests, subsequent quarantining and contact tracing within the Notre Dame women’s basketball program."
William & Mary is opting out of the remainder of its women's basketball season

Memphis, East Carolina pause all men's basketball activities
Due to a positive COVID-19 test and contact-tracing, the Memphis men's basketball program is on pause "until further notice." Thursday's game against Cincinnati has been postponed as a result.
East Carolina men's basketball is temporarily pausing all activities due to a positive COVID-19 test, contact-tracing and quarantining. The pause postpones the series against Temple, which was scheduled to begin on Thursday and to conclude on Saturday.
Dayton-St. Joseph's Saturday men's basketball game postponed
The Atlantic 10 announced Wednesday that Saturday's Dayton-St. Joseph's men's basketball game has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols that apply to St. Joseph's Tier 1 personnel.

Santa Clara announced Monday that its next two games have been postponed because of additional positive COVID-19 tests and quarantining that has delayed the program's return to practice. The two games are listed below.

Three additional Baylor men's basketball games postponed
On Monday, the Big 12 announced that three additional Baylor games have been postponed because of the conference's men's basketball interruption guidelines. The games are listed below.
- Saturday, Feb. 13 vs. Texas Tech
- Monday, Feb. 15 at West Virginia
- Thursday, Feb. 18 vs. West Virginia
The Big 12 previously announced that the Bears' game at Oklahoma on Wednesday, Feb. 10, had been postponed.
DePaul at Xavier men's game postponed
The Big East announced the DePaul at Xavier men's basketball game scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 11 is postponed due to COVID considerations. A makeup date has not been announced.
Siena men's basketball pauses team activities
On Sunday, Siena announced that it had paused team activities because of positive COVID-19 test results among its Tier 1 personnel group.
The Saints' next two games on Friday, Feb. 12 and Saturday, Feb. 13, against Canisius have been postponed.
Florida-Tennessee, Georgia-Texas A&M men's basketball games postponed
On Sunday, Feb. 7, the Florida-Tennessee and Georgia-Texas A&M men's basketball games scheduled for February 10 were postponed due to COVID-19. This decision comes in response to positive COVID-19 tests, contact tracing and quarantining within Florida and Texas A&M's programs. Make up dates for the two games have not yet been announced.
As a result of these postponements, Tennessee and Georgia will play at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Feb. 10. That game was originally scheduled for March 3.
UMass pausing all athletic activities due to surging COVID-19 cases on campus
Massachusetts is pausing all athletic activities, including games and practices for all sport programs, due to a surge in COVID-19 cases on campus.
The pause will be in place for a minimum of 14 days, starting 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 7. According to the press release, it will only be lifted "when public health conditions improve substantially."
Marist program pauses, Western Kentucky-FAU series postponed
On Friday night, the Marist men's basketball program paused all team activities following a positive COVID-19 test within the program.
The Western Kentucky men's basketball series at FAU has been postponed after a positive COVID-19 case and subsequent contact tracing within the Hilltopper program. According to the official WKU release, this is the program's first positive case.
Northern Illinois men's basketball to remain on pause
On Monday, Northern Illinois announced that it will remain on pause through this week because of "positive COVID-19 tests and subsequent contact tracing."
As a result, the Huskies' game against Central Michigan on Saturday, Feb. 6, has been postponed.
Fordham men's basketball will not travel to VCU for Sunday's game
Saturday's Canisius-Quinnipiac game will not be played
Today's game between Canisius and Quinnipiac men's basketball will not be played following an inconclusive COVID test result from a Tier 1 member of the Canisius program.
The two teams are still scheduled to play each other tomorrow, Sunday, Jan. 31, pending follow-up test results.
Kentucky, Saint Mary's men's basketball programs pause team activities
According to the school, the Kentucky men's basketball program is on pause for 48 hours after a combination of positive testing, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining within the program. As a result, Saturday's game against Texas has been canceled.
The Saint Mary's men's basketball program will also go on pause following positive COVID-19 testing and contact tracing within the program. The Gaels next three games against Pacific, Santa Clara and Loyola Marymount will be postponed, per the release.
Davidson men's basketball pauses team activities
On Wednesday, Davidson men's basketball announced that it had paused team activities due to "positive COVID-19 test results among Tier 1 personnel."
According to the announcement, Tier 1 personnel includes "scholar athletes, coaches and any staff member whose job requires close regular contact."
Due to the pause, the Wildcats' Saturday game against St. Bonaventure has been postponed.
Santa Clara men's basketball pauses team activities
On Tuesday, Santa Clara men's basketball announced that it had paused team activities due to "positive cases from COVID-19 testing and related contact tracing."
The Broncos' next three games have been postponed: Saturday, Jan. 30, at Portland; Thursday, Feb. 4, vs. Saint Mary's (Calif.); Saturday, Feb. 6, at Gonzaga.

On Monday, the MAAC announced significant schedule changes that affect all of its men's basketball programs.
Oregon men's basketball pauses team activities
On Tuesday, Oregon men's basketball announced it had paused all team activities "because of COVID-19 protocols."
The Ducks' next three games, all on the road, have been postponed: UCLA on Thursday, Jan. 28, USC on Saturday, Jan. 30, and UCLA on Monday, Feb. 1. Makeup dates will be announced once finalized.
Wednesday's UMass-VCU men's basketball game postponed, UMass pauses team activities
The UMass-VCU game scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 27, has been postponed due to "contact tracing protocols and out of an abundance of caution." The Atlantic 10 will work with both teams to schedule a makeup date.
UMass also announced Tuesday that it had paused team activities.
Tonight's UNC Greensboro-Furman men's basketball game postponed
The UNC Greensboro-Furman game scheduled for tonight has been postponed because of positive COVID-19 tests and quarantine requirements within Furman's program.
The Paladins' game against Chattanooga on Saturday, Jan. 30, has also been postponed, due to positive positive tests and quarantine protocols within Chattanooga's program.
Furman's next scheduled game is Wednesday, Feb. 3, against Samford.

Michigan pauses all of its athletic programs for up to 14 days
On Saturday, Michigan paused all of its athletic programs for up to 14 days after several individuals "linked to the U-M Athletic Department" tested positive for the B.1.1.7 variant of COVID-19.
The next four games for Michigan men's basketball have been postponed. The Wolverines' next scheduled contest is Thursday, Feb. 11, at home against Illinois.

TCU postpones two games this week after head coach Jamie Dixon tests positive for COVID-19
Two upcoming TCU men's basketball games are postponed after head coach Jamie Dixon announced on Monday that he tested positive for COVID-19. The Horned Frogs' January 20 matchup against Texas Tech and January 23 game versus Texas are the games that are affected.
Dixon tweeted that he is now self-isolating.

Nebraska pauses team activities after head coach Fred Hoiberg tests positive for COVID-19
Nebraska men's basketball has paused team activities after head coach Fred Hoiberg announced on Sunday that he tested positive for COVID-19.
Hoiberg tweeted that while he's experiencing symptoms, his condition has improved in the last 24 hours. He is currently self-isolating.
UCLA-California women's basketball game for Jan. 24 postponed
The UCLA-California game scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 24, has been postponed "due to recent COVID-19 developments within the Golden Bears’ program."
Rescheduling details will be announced once a final decision is made.
Notre Dame-Howard game canceled
The Notre Dame-Howard contest scheduled for Monday, Jan. 18, has been canceled due to COVID-19 related concerns within the Bison program, per a press release from Howard.
"We are all incredibly disappointed by this cancellation," Howard Director of Athletics Kery Davis said in the release. "This was a tremendous opportunity to bring national exposure to our basketball team and the University. However, it goes without saying that the health and welfare of our student-athletes is our priority first and foremost."
Iowa State-Kansas men's basketball game postponed
On Friday, Jan. 15, Iowa State postponed its January 16 road game at Kansas due to COVID-19 protocols within the Cyclones' program. ISU has also paused team activities indefinitely.
Oklahoma-Oklahoma State men's basketball game postponed
On Friday, Jan. 15, Oklahoma State announced that its January 16 home game against Oklahoma has been postponed due to COVID-19. The Cowboys paused team activities indefinitely following a positive COVID-19 test within the program.
Virginia women's basketball cancels remainder of season
The Virginia women's basketball team has canceled the rest of its season, the school announced on Thursday, due to healthy and safety concerns.
The Cavaliers last played on Dec. 13. The decision to cancel the rest of the season after the program postponed or canceled six games because of COVID protocols. Injuries have also limited the team with available players.
"As difficult as it is to end our season in this manner, it is a necessary one," Virginia coach Tina Thompson said in the release. "The health and safety of our student-athletes will always be the number one priority. We will continue to focus on their overall well-being and prepare to resume competition in the fall.”
Virginia is the second ACC women's team to cancel its season. Duke did so on Dec. 25.
Thursday's Michigan State-Iowa men's basketball game postponed
The Michigan State-Iowa game scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 14, has been postponed out of "an abundance of caution surrounding the health and safety of the participants."
Both schools will work with the Big Ten to determined a makeup date.

According to the official release from the Mountaineers, "The postponement is in response to West Virginia being unable to meet the required COVID-19 thresholds on Monday, as established by the Big 12 Conference. WVU will work with the Big 12 Conference and Baylor to reschedule the game."

Clemson's games vs. North Carolina, Syracuse postponed
The ACC announced on Friday that the Clemson men's basketball team's against North Carolina and Syracuse have been postponed. They were going to be played on Saturday, Jan. 9 and Tuesday, Jan. 12.
The postponements come due to a positive COVID test and subsequent quarantining and contact tracing with Clemson. Because of the postponements, the UNC-Syracuse game that was scheduled on Jan. 2 will now be played on Jan. 12 at 9 p.m. on the ACC Network.
St. Bonaventure-George Washington men's basketball game postponed
Missouri men's basketball pauses activities, postpones game vs. LSU
The Missouri men's basketball program has paused all activities due to COVID-19 protocols. As a result, Saturday's home game against LSU has been postponed.
The status of Missouri's Jan. 12 home game against Vanderbilt and Jan. 16 game at Texas A&M is still to be determined, according to the school release.

On Thursday, Jan. 7, NCAA Senior Vice President of Basketball Dan Gavitt announced that the First Four of the 2021 Division I NCAA men's basketball championship will not begin two days after Selection Sunday. Watch the full clip below:

Gavitt stated that there will be more time between selections and the first games as teams must travel to Indianapolis with the entirety of the tournament being played in Indiana due to COVID-19. This will be the first time in its 10-year history that the First Four is not held in Dayton, Ohio.
Friday's Arizona-Washington women's basketball game postponed
The Arizona-Washington game scheduled for Friday, Jan.8, has been postponed due to "recent COVID-19 impacts within the Washington program."
Both teams will work with the Pac-12 to reschedule the game. Arizona's game at Washington State on Sunday, Dec. 10 will go on as scheduled.
Wednesday's Penn State-Ohio State men's basketball game postponed
The Penn State-Ohio State men's basketball game scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 6, has been postponed due to positive COVID-19 results within the Nittany Lions' program.
Both schools will work with the Big Ten to reschedule the game.
Baylor women's basketball head coach Kim Mulkey tests positive for COVID-19, Thursday's game against UConn canceled
On Tuesday, Baylor announced that women's basketball head coach Kim Mulkey tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday. The program is currently restricting team activities.
As a result, the Bears' game against UConn on Thursday, Jan. 7, has been canceled. Mulkey is showing no symptoms and will isolate for 10 days before returning to the team.

March Madness to be held entirely in Indiana
It's official. Indiana is the state synonymous with basketball and it will host the entire 2021 NCAA DI men's basketball championship. The NCAA announced the news Monday, which you can read in its entirety here. These are some of the main points:
- Games will be played on two courts inside Lucas Oil Stadium and at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Hinkle Fieldhouse, Indiana Farmers Coliseum, Mackey Arena in West Lafayette and Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington. Only one game at a time will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium.
- The NCAA will partner with a local health provider to administer COVID-19 tests within the controlled environment for players, coaching staffs, administrators and officials
- The official hosts of the tournament are Ball State, Butler, the Horizon League, Indiana, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and Purdue, which are lending their facilities and staffs to assist with tournament operations.
- The Indiana Convention Center will be used for practices with multiple courts set up inside the venue.
- Most of the tournament teams will stay at Marriott properties, which are connected to the convention center by skywalks. All teams will stay on dedicated hotel floors, with physically distanced meeting and dining rooms and secure transportation to and from competition venues.
- "Mask Madness" will be a big part of this year's event and include thousands of NCAA-donated masks throughout the state.
- Selection Sunday is still scheduled for March 14. The Final Four and NCAA title game are set for April 3 and 5.
- The NCAA is working with local officials to determine if fans can attend games. A limited number of family members of student-athletes and coaches may attend games.
- CBS Sports and Turner Sports will continue to show all 67 games of the tournament across TBS, CBS, TNT, truTV and digital platforms.
- Duke (above) won the NCAA championship the last time the Final Four was in Indianapolis. It's also hosted in 1980, 1991, 1997, 2000, 2006 and 2010. It's also set to host in 2026.
Villanova men's basketball postpones next 3 games
Villanova men's basketball announced it is pausing all team activities once again due to COVID-19 issues. The Wildcats' next three games against DePaul (Tuesday), Marquette (Friday) and Xavier (Jan. 13) have been postponed.
Villanova first paused activities back on Dec. 27 due to COVID issues, but announced Sunday that it had returned to practices.
Villanova men's basketball resumes activities
Villanova men's basketball announced it has resumed activities and returned to practice on Sunday. The program went on pause on Dec. 27 due to COVID-19 positive test results among Tier 1 staff members, including head coach Jay Wright.
The school release said Wright has participated in virtual team and staff meetings the past week and is targeting a return to the sidelines for Villanova's next matchup on Tuesday night at DePaul.

Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski to miss Saturday's game against Florida State
Duke men's basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski will miss Saturday's game at Florida State after being "exposed to an individual not in the travel party who tested positive to COVID-19."
Associate head coach Jon Scheyer will serve in Krzyzewski's place for the game.
Stanford, Oregon State to play on Monday
The postponed game between Stanford and Oregon State men's basketball will now be played this Monday, Jan. 4 at 3 p.m. ET on Pac-12 Network.
The matchup was originally scheduled for Dec. 31 but was postponed due to COVID-19 testing results and contact tracing protocols within the OSU program.
Saturday's Virginia Tech-Virginia men's basketball game postponed

On Friday, Marquette women's basketball announced that it had paused team activities due to a positive COVID-19 test. The Golden Eagles' next three games against DePaul on Jan. 3, Creighton on Jan. 6 and Villanova on Jan. 9 have been postponed.
Temple men's basketball's next two games postponed
Temple men's basketball announced that its games against Memphis on Saturday, Jan. 2, and Tulane on Wednesday, Jan. 6, have been postponed due to a positive COVID-19 case.
Rescheduled dates have not yet been determined.
Tuesday's Pittsburgh-Duke men's basketball game postponed
Wednesday's East Carolina-Wichita State men's basketball game postponed
The East Carolina-Wichita State game scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 30, has been postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests and contact tracing within the Pirates' program.
The game will be rescheduled at the first opportunity when both teams are available prior to Sunday, Feb. 21, according to a release from the American Athletic Conference.
Ole Miss at South Carolina women's basketball game postponed
The SEC announced that the Ole Miss at No. 5 South Carolina women's basketball game on Thursday, Dec. 31 has been postponed. The decision was made due to a combination of COVID-19 positive tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the Ole Miss program.
No. 5 Villanova vs. No. 22 Xavier has been postponed
The Big East conference has announced that January 2's game between No. 5 Villanova and No. 22 Xavier has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Villanova program.
That game has not been rescheduled for a later date yet.
TCU to play Prairie View A&M Wednesday, December 30, instead of Texas Southern
On Sunday, TCU men's basketball program announced that they will be playing Prarie View A&M on Wednesday, December 30, instead of Texas Southern.
The game will take place at 8 p.m. ET and will be aired on ESPN+.
Loyola Marymount men's basketball program pauses activities
Loyola Marymount men's basketball announced Saturday that it will pause all program activities due to positive COVID-19 cases and contact tracing.
The school announced that its final non-conference game, against Southern Cal, has been canceled due to the pause. LMU will also postpone the opening game of conference play. It is working with the West Coast Conference to reschedule the game. LMU's conference opener was supposed to take place on Jan. 2 against Santa Clara.
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's basketball program pauses activities
The Southland Conference released a series of scheduling changes in men's basketball following Texas A&M-Corpus Christi's announced 14-day pause of team activities due to COVID-19 protocols.
The Islanders' next three conference games against Southeastern Louisiana (Jan. 2), Stephen F. Austin (Jan. 6) and Abilene Christian (Jan. 9) have been postponed to later dates to be announced. Their non-conference game against Texas, originally scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 29, has been canceled.
Duke women's basketball cancels remainder of 2020-21 season
On Friday, Dec. 25, Duke announced that the remainder of its women's basketball season is canceled due to safety concerns regarding COVID-19.
The Blue Devils played four games during the 2020-21 season and had been on pause since December 16 due to positive COVID-19 tests and contact tracing within the program.
Wednesday's UCLA-Oregon game postponed
UCLA announced that its men's basketball game against Oregon for today has been postponed due to "COVID-19 testing & contact tracing protocols for game officials."
The Pac-12 will work with both schools to reschedule the game.

South Carolina men's basketball pauses team activities
Tuesday's Notre Dame-Syracuse game postponed
The ACC announced that the men's basketball game between Notre Dame and Syracuse, originally scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 22, has been postponed due to "positive tests in a recent Syracuse opponent, subsequent quarantining, and contact tracing required for the Syracuse men’s basketball team."
Pitt men's basketball head coach Jeff Capel tests positive for COVID-19
Pitt announced Saturday that men's basketball head coach Jeff Capel had tested positive for COVID-19. He will miss the team's next game against Louisville on Tuesday, Dec. 22.
No additional positive tests results were found within the program.
UConn-DePaul men's basketball game postponed
On Saturday, Dec. 19, Connecticut announced that its road game at DePaul scheduled for Dec. 23 has been postponed due to COVID-19.
No makeup date has been announced.

Duquesne cancels next two games for Dec. 14 and 16
Duquesne men's basketball has announced its next two games, scheduled for Dec. 14 and 16, have been canceled due to a positive COVID-19 test among Tier 1 personnel.
Both games were scheduled to be played in Indianapolis against nonconference opponents Southern Illinois and Loyola Chicago. The program's next scheduled game, as of now, is Saturday, Dec. 19 at Richmond.

Houston men's basketball pauses due to positive tests, contact tracing
Wednesday's Wisconsin-Louisville game postponed
Wednesday's ACC/Big Ten Challenge matchup between No. 13 Wisconsin and No. 25 Louisville will be postponed. Both schools will explore rescheduling for a later date, per Wisconsin's press release.
The Badgers also announced they have replaced its matchup with the Cardinals for a home game against Rhode Island, now scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday. The game will air on Big Ten Network.
Wednesday's La Salle-UMass game postponed
The Atlantic 10 conference announced that Wednesday's game between La Salle and UMass has been postponed. The make-up date will be announced at a later time.
UConn men's basketball pauses team activities
The UConn men's basketball program announced Sunday night it has temporarily paused all team activities following a member's positive COVID-19 test.
As a result, the UConn-St. John's game originally scheduled for Friday, Dec. 11, has been postponed.
Sunday's Iowa State-DePaul game canceled
The Iowa State-DePaul men's basketball game scheduled for tonight, Sunday, Dec. 6, has been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols inside the DePaul program.
The Cyclones (1-1) have their next scheduled game on Friday, Dec. 11 at Iowa. The Blue Demons have not yet started their season and are now next scheduled to play Friday at Seton Hall.
Jacksonville State-FIU game will not be played Sunday
The Jacksonville State-FIU game will not be played today due to COVID-19 testing protocols and out of an abundance of caution.
FIU's next game is Saturday, Dec. 12 at North Florida. Jacksonville State is idle until Sunday, Dec. 13 when it visits Tennessee Tech.
No. 1 Gonzaga vs. No. 2 Baylor game will not be played Saturday
Saturday's top-2 matchup between No. 1 Gonzaga and No. 2 Baylor will not be played today, after one student-athlete and one non-student-athlete for Gonzaga tested positive for COVID-19.
The two teams mutually agreed not to play the game Saturday but have agreed to attempt to reschedule the meeting for a later date, according to Baylor's statement.
Ohio State, Maryland cancel men's basketball games for December 5
Two Big Ten men's basketball teams have canceled games scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5.
- Ohio State's home game with Alabama A&M was canceled after Alabama A&M shared results of its most recent COVID-19 testing.
- Maryland's road game at James Madison has also been canceled due to a positive COVID-19 test within the JMU program.
