OMAHA -- The sale of general admission (GA) seat tickets for the 2012 NCAA Division I Men’s College World Series will begin on April 14. GA tickets, costing $80 per book of 10 tickets, are available through, from area service clubs, at all Hy-Vee supermarket customer service counters, as well as the CenturyLink Center Omaha box office and other locations throughout the metro Omaha area.

GA tickets are for non-guaranteed seats in the right outfield and left outfield bleachers, which are located in Sections 125 through 136. The aluminum, bench-style bleachers with seat backs will hold approximately 5,500 fans. Standing room on the concourse is also available on a game-by-game basis. GA tickets are good throughout the Series, including Finals games.

Admissions will be restricted once the GA section is filled to capacity, although fans will still be allowed through the gate intermittently to fill unused GA seats or as people leave the stadium. “GA tickets are not designated for a specific session or date and these seats will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis,” said Carol Foreman, ticket manager of CWS of Omaha, Inc. “As long as the ticket holder arrives early enough to be seated, the tickets are good for all games, including CWS Finals games.”

Based on the availability of reserved seats during games, GA tickets may be upgraded to the reserved section at the TD Ameritrade Park Omaha box office on the day of the game. A limit of four GA tickets, valued at a single-game price of $11, may be upgraded to reserved seat tickets for any single game. To upgrade a GA ticket to reserved ticket, the purchaser must pay the difference between the individual GA ticket price and the reserved seat ticket price.
