AUBURNDALE, Fla. -- The bats were busy at Lake Myrtle Field on Monday as Wisconsin-Stevens Point outlasted DePauw 19-14.

There were 33 hits, including nine extra-base hits in the game.

UWSP scattered three home runs in the win. Dan Douglas homered in the second inning, Sean Gerber went deep in the fifth and Riley Spetz capped the slugfest with a home run in the eighth.

Spetz racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Pointers, singling in the fourth and fifth innings, doubling in the seventh and homering in the eighth.

Brad Stroik earned the win while allowing six runs in five innings. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered seven hits.

Six UWSP hitters combined for 19 hits, 18 RBIs and 15 runs scored.

The Pointers led by as many as 11 after a pair of five-run innings in the top of the fourth and fifth innings.
