EUGENE, Ore. -- Ryon Healy hit a two-run double in the eighth to give Oregon a 3-2 win against South Dakota State on Friday in the NCAA Eugene Regional.

Oregon had just one hit before Healy's double reached left-center field and gave the Ducks (46-14) their first lead.

The Ducks chased South Dakota State starting pitcher Layne Somsen with J.J. Altobelli's leadoff walk in the eighth.

Altobelli went to second on Brett Thomas' sacrifice bunt before Jackrabbit reliever J.D. Moore hit Aaron Payne with a pitch. Healy followed and drove in both.

Oregon closer Jimmie Sherfy finished the game in the ninth for his 21st save of the season.
