BATON ROUGE, La. -- Sam Roberson's RBI sacrifice fly scored Jameson Fisher to give Southeastern Louisiana a 2-1, 10-inning victory against Bryant in an elimination game in Baton Rouge Regional.
Tied 1-1, Southeastern (38-24) led off the 10th with back-to-back singles by Fisher and Andrew Godbold. With one out, Daniel Midyett reached on an infield single to load the bases. Roberson's sacrifice fly to centerfield scored Fisher.
With the bases loaded in the bottom half of the inning with one out, AJ Zarozny flied out to Andrew Godbold, who threw out Dan Cellucci at the plate to end the game and the season for Bryant.
Bryant (42-15) scored in the fifth inning on Carl Anderson's RBI double.
The Lions took a 1-0 lead in their first at-bat. Jacob Seward led off the game with a single, advanced to third on a throwing error and scored on a wild pitch.
Mason Klotz (2-0) picked up the win for Southeastern with four innings of shutout relief. Trevor Lacosse (4-4) was the loser.
