MARTIN, Tenn. -- Belmont hit an OVC-record 12 home runs against the UT Martin Skyhawks on Sunday, winning 34-10 in game three at Skyhawk Field.
Drew Ferguson, Joe Stovall, Nick Egli and Tyler Fullerton all recorded two home runs for the Bruins.
The Bruins had a record setting sixth inning, plating 20 runs on 18 hits, retiring three Skyhawk pitchers. Drew Ferguson, Matt Beaty, Nick Egli, Joe Stovall, Tyler Fullerton and Zach Lannan all had homers in the sixth. Belmont sent 26 batters to the plate in the frame.
The Bruins recorded 31 hits to the 11 UT Martin hits.
