Plus velocity is great, but possessing pinpoint control is a huge part of pitching. California junior starter Ryan Mason has amazing accuracy, and then some.
The 6-foot-6 hurler is 6-2 with a 2.69 ERA in 11 starts this season, but what he did in a recent bullpen session is even more impressive than what he’s accomplished on the mound thus far.

Wow. If Mason can do that, painting the black on the outside corner should be a piece of cake for the duration of Pac-12 play.
